Check in to RV and tent sites is at 1PM. Check in to cabins is at 3PM. All sites have a check out time of noon.

Contact our office to ensure your site will be available, but we do offer early check-in and late check-out for a per-person fee. If you have a cabin, you will only be allowed into your rental from the normal check-in/out times, but can access the park for the river and other amenities if you choose to arrive early or stay late.

If you don't think you will make it to the park before office close, please contact us in advance so that we can ensure your after-hours access into the park.

No, we ask that you book your site at least one day in advance.

If you have already checked your spam folder and still don't see your confirmation email, please contact the office to verify we have the correct email on file for you and then we can resend it.

To make any changes to an existing reservation (both online and with a reservationist), please contact the office and we can make adjustments for you. At this time, there is no way for you to make your own changes through the booking portal.

We welcome you to come check us out during office hours. Please stop by the check-in building for a mapbook and car pass. During peak season, we may deny weekend drive-thrus if the park is too busy, so please try to catch us weekdays if possible.

Yes, all visitors must stop at the check-in building upon arrival to register and pay their visitor fees. Guests with overnight reservations are encouraged to pre-pay for their visitors as there is limited parking. Even prepaid visitors need to stop at the check-in building to register and pick up their car tag.

Yes! When registering at the check-in building, please provide your friend's last name and site number. You will be given a visitor pass for the day ($5/person/night and $10/vehicle/night, holiday rates will be higher). Visitor passes are limited by parking availability.

Yes! We also have cabanas available to rent. Call our team at (512) 213-0112 to book day camp passes.

At this time, we do not have RVs available for rent. You can use RVShare linked on our booking portal to find a rental RV or contact our front office for other local options. If renting an RV through a 3rd party, you will still be required to reserve and pay for a site with us. Please let us know you are using an RV rental service when making your reservation.

Yes, we offer river shuttle service daily from 10 AM to 6 PM. If you bring your own tube, the shuttle fee is $8 per person. If you rent a tube from us for $14 per person, the shuttle service is included for free all day. The tubing trip from the drop-off point typically lasts around 2 hours.

Yes, we allow guests to bring their golf carts or UTVs with a fee, valid ID, and insurance. Please let us know at check-in so you can sign a waiver and get your golf cart tag.

Transient stay guests are required to register their personal golf cart by providing proof of ID and insurance and paying a $100 one-time, annual fee or a $25 per stay fee. Extended stay guests must register their golf carts by providing proof of ID and insurance and paying $100 annual registration fee.

ATVs and dirt bikes are prohibited in the park.

Gas-powered golf carts may be allowed on a case-by-case basis.

At this time, our Clubhouse and Pavilion are usable with reservation only. Please contact the office if you would like to check availability.

Yes, we have various groups and families hold their gatherings at our park throughout the year. If you would like to check availability and set up a group reservation, please contact our office. We are no longer able to offer closed-park private events.

No, tents are not allowed on RV sites.

The Treehouses do not have bathrooms, but all other Cabin rentals have a full bathroom with a shower and toilet.

Your cabin comes furnished with toilet paper, a roll of paper towels, trash bags, and a bath mat. Be sure to bring linens or sleeping bags, pillows, toiletries, soap, cookware, utensils, and anything else you may need. You should also bring your own grill and fire ring if not included in your rental.

Your cabin has a mini coffee pot with filters. Please be sure to bring your own coffee grounds and cups.

Yes, we have a propane refill station onsite!

Pets are not permitted in any of our cabins. However, they are welcome at our campgrounds amd your RV sites, with the exception of the following areas: buildings, playgrounds, the Camp Store, food and beverage areas, pavilions, and bathhouses.

All pets must be kept on a leash and attended to at all times. Guests are responsible for minimizing noise or disturbances and for cleaning up after their pets.

Please note: If a pet is found inside a cabin, a pet fee of $50 for the first pet and $25 for each additional pet will be charged, along with a deep cleaning fee starting at $100.

Due to limited accessibility of our dumpsters during this period of ongoing renovation, we are temporarily offering trash service from 9AM-noon daily. Please leave your trash bagged and neatly stacked at the end of your pad for our staff to collect and take for you. Please do not leave trash out overnight as this attracts critters.

We are proud to serve Hunts Brothers Pizza and Wing Bites. If you are looking for restaurants, our staff would be happy to give you some local recommendations.

Yes, we do allow fires any time of the year as long as they are contained in a grill or fire pit. Please no ground fires and no grilling at the river.

Due to the proximity to the river and other agriculturally oriented properties, fireworks and confetti are prohibited in the park.

The beautiful San Marcos River is spring-fed and stays a pleasant 72 degrees year-round. The water level fluctuates day to day, but it is still usually swimmable and floatable. For more information on this natural beauty, we encourage you to visit the River Authority's website.

We do not give credit or refunds due to the discomforts of nature. The fun continues rain or shine. Our refund policy varies, depending on the timing of your cancellation notice in advance of the reservation date:
Campsites:
2+ WEEKS: Refund minus $25 cancellation fee OR full refund issued in camp credit
1 WEEK: 50% of reservation issued in camp credit and 50% of reservation forfeited
LESS THAN 1 WEEK: Full reservation forfeited

Cabins:
3+ WEEKS: Refund minus $25 cancellation fee OR full refund issued in camp credit
2 WEEKs: 50% of reservation issued in camp credit and 50% of reservation forfeited
LESS THAN 2 WEEKS: Full reservation forfeited
The cancellation policy shall be amended in the event a natural disaster (i.e. Blizzard, Hurricane, or Tropical Storm Watch/Warning) is issued for the camp-resort area or the guest's residence within 48 hours of the reservation arrival date OR when there is a mandatory evacuation of the area and the camp-resort will be closed.

Quiet hours are enforced from 10PM to 7AM daily. Your neighbors thank you for being considerate.

At check-in, you will be given a mapbook with listings of some of our favorite local places. Our little town of Fentress has a fun Skydiving park, a cozy restaurant called Frank's Place, and a Family Dollar to stock up on any supplies you forgot at home. We are right in the middle of San Marcos, Lockhart, Luling, and Seguin and about 40 minutes from New Braunfels or Austin. The options are endless!
